But I don't think it'll ever really be 'none of the above'.

Re: http://www.persuasive.ly/post/20747223875

You're dead on, Eyuel. Wouldn't you feel more guilty the more you believe in free will? If you don't believe in free will you'll believe that whatever happened wasn't your fault, so you won't feel guilty for it

Re: http://www.persuasive.ly/post/20747223875

Very excited to hear more about this.

Re: The Recipe for Passion

Hey Julian! Thanks for the comment.

I'm definitely going to write more about habit formation - especially re: creation behaviors.

Stay tuned. I'll put out some stuff in the next couple of days.

Re: The Recipe for Passion

Really insightful

Re: The Recipe for Passion

Very interesting reflections on this area Jason that really resonated. I think you've definitely hit on something with your discussion of the consumptive vs creative mindset. What plans to expand on how to develop more creative behaviour patterns/habits?

Warm regards,
Julian

Re: The Rise of Boredom.

Hey Hunter. I think that's a definite possibility.

My natural inclination is to think that boredom is a universal emotion that humans have experienced for as long as they've existed. However, like so many other modern ailments, it may be our reaction to an environment/context vastly different from those we evolved to handle.

That's what I was pondering. Is boredom really an age-old experience, or a withdrawal symptom from a very stimulating environment?

Re: The Rise of Boredom.

Do you think that the modern person is more often bored than a person from 1000 years ago? I feel as though humans back then may have felt the same way as often but had no way to describe it

Re: Books and articles every Behavior Designer should read.

I'm surprised you didn't include Influence by Cialdini. Why's that?
